Former President Joe Biden, 82, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer after a checkup with urinary symptoms with his doctor. His cancer has a 90% chance of being fatal.
Furthermore, other doctors are surprised that they couldn’t find out he had cancer before the cancer got into the core of Biden’s bones. “It is very sad. I am surprised that the public wasn’t notified a long time ago,” Trump said at an event at the White House.
A few reasons why doctors couldn’t find out if Biden had cancer were that PSA tests don’t necessarily “find” cancer in your body; they only find the low levels of cancer, not the high levels. The PSA test is a tool that can help detect prostate cancer, but it’s not a definitive diagnostic test. It can provide valuable information, but it’s important to consider its limitations and interpret the results in conjunction with other clinical factors and potentially further testing.
Several world leaders were sympathetic to Biden and his family, including King Charles III, Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and many more. They all wish Biden all the best in his fight against cancer.
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, an independent, volunteer panel of national experts, issued guidance in 2018 that recommended against P.S.A. screening for men over 70 years old. In explaining their recommendation, the task force said many men develop prostate cancer with no symptoms and often die with the disease without knowing it.
Biden might die of prostate cancer. People may feel sad or upset about this situation if Biden were to die, but we can’t say that for certain. Thus, we will have to wait and see.
