Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s Restaurant: 1587 Prime

Kansas City Chiefs football teammates, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, are officially becoming partners off the field. They plan to open a steakhouse restaurant, 1587 Prime, in 2025. The restaurant is named after their jersey numbers, 15 and 87, and will be opened in Kansas City.

Described as the ‘ultimate experiential dining destination’, the new restaurant will be located in Loews Kansas City Hotel. It was made a reality thanks to a partnership with the hospitality group, Noble 33. They own several restaurants in Los Angeles, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, New York, Toronto, and London, which are frequently visited by Mahomes and Kelce, which Mahomes comments in a release. Kelce even celebrated the Chiefs’ latest Super Bowl win with friends at one of the Noble 33 restaurants.

Mahomes and Kelce decided to open this restaurant so they could bring some of the Noble 33 experience to their home in Kansas City. “Me and Travis have been working on that for a while. We’re always together, we’re always at these restaurants and we have a love for bringing people together,” Mahomes explained in an interview. “And I think the biggest thing for us is we’re going to do whatever we can to keep bringing people together, and what better place in Kansas City than around a steakhouse?”

Additionally, 1587 Prime comes with several perks and hospitalities. It will feature a steak program which allows guests to choose specialty cuts from a meat display. It will also be incredibly large at a whopping 10,000 square feet, which spans two floors at the hotel. Furthermore, Mahomes and Kelce explained that their restaurant will have ‘hyper-subtle nods’ to their football careers. One example that Mahomes revealed was the Andy Reid Cheeseburger named after the Chiefs’ head coach. “We’ll definitely have the Andy Reid cheeseburger on there,” Mahomes said. The cheeseburger idea came from a joke in which Reid literally ate a cheeseburger and went to bed as a way of celebrating the Chiefs’ latest Super Bowl win. Mahomes also said there will definitely be ketchup, as it is his favorite, and maybe even something similar to corn dogs. Overall, he explains, “I’ve already seen the menu, I can’t give away too many things. A lot of great stuff, though,” assuring that the food will be great. Kelce and Mahomes also added that the restaurant won’t be too high priced, so everyone can go.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are excited to bring this new restaurant to their fans, and can’t wait to make it happen. They aim to bring people together and offer them the amazing Noble 33 experience. It will most likely become a high tourist spot as well, since it is home to the players of one of the most famous American football teams in the 21st Century, the Kansas City Chiefs.
