Mother’s Day, a day dedicated to honoring our moms, is a testament to their unwavering dedication and selflessness.      With Mother’s Day around the corner, many start to wonder about the importance of this prominent day and the recognition it deserves. To explain, 7th-grade student Jasraj Tulsi stated, “They deserve a day for themselves… It can impact people worldwide, as it should be considered a holiday, as mothers work really hard.” Adding to his statement, Jasraj later explained how mothers constantly work for their families and especially go to extreme efforts for their children.

     Some may argue that Mother’s Day is just another holiday, as we can celebrate our incredible moms any other day. This may be true, but this incredible event truly recognizes what our brilliant guardians do for our lifestyles and safety. Though you may show your appreciation throughout your daily routine to your family, small ways to say thank you may include making a sentimental card, sharing your favorite memories, getting jewelry, making breakfast, buying flowers, making something handmade, and more.

     Overall, Mother’s Day is an impactful day for many moms worldwide, recognizing the great work they do for their families. Many look at Mother’s Day as a prominent holiday in the year, holding many emotions close to their hearts as it passes. Given this importance, what impact can you make to recognize this holiday?
